Conditions of Entry

  • All exhibits to be at the Showground by 9.30am on Tuesday, ready for judging at 10am
  • Exhibits may be entered with the Chief Steward at the Pavilion.
  • All exhibitors must pay admission or become a member.
  • All works to be suitably Mounted or Framed for hanging, or they will be disqualified.
  • Original work only. Exhibits must not have been shown at any previous Trundle Show.
  • There must be more than 2 entries for a 2nd Place to be awarded.
  • Each entry must be marked on the back with ‘the Exhibitor’s Name’, ‘Title of the Work’, ‘the Price’ if for sale, or marked ‘N F S’.
  • 10% commission from any sales will go to the Show Society.
  • Prizes 1st - $5.00,2nd - $2.00 unless otherwise stated.
  • Entry Fee - 50c

Local Artist (to reside within 50km of Trundle)

1.    Painting or Drawing - ‘Rural Scene’ or ‘Building’, – any medium - Subject is to be within 50kms of Trundle.

2.    Portrait – Painting or Drawing – Any medium.

3.    Oil or Acrylic – Landscape or Seascape.

4.    Oil or Acrylic – Any other subject.

5.    Water Colour – Landscape or Seascape.

6.    Water Colour – Any other subject not previously mentioned.

7.    Modern or abstract – Any medium.

8.    Black & White Drawing – Any subject -ink, pencil, felt pen, charcoal (or a mixture of any of the above)

9.    Collage – Any subject - Any medium/s.

10.   Miniature – Any subject - Any medium. (Subject area must not exceed 24sq inches (eg 4” x 6”, 3” x 8”)

Champion Exhibit in Fine Art (Section 1-10) - Rosette

Most Successful Exhibitor in Fine Art (Section 1-10) (Decided on points - Prize kindly donated by Reliance Credit Union.)

Local Junior Artist (to reside within 50km of Trundle.)

11.   Primary – Painting ‘On the Farm’ or ‘At the Show’ - any medium.

12.   Primary – Drawing - Any subject. (lead or colour pencils, crayons, felt pens etc.)

13.   Secondary – Painting ‘On the Farm’ or ‘At the Show’ - any medium.

14.   Secondary – Drawing – Any subject (lead or colour pencils, crayons, felt pens etc.)

Champion Exhibit in Local Junior Art (Section 11-14. - Rosette)

Most Successful Exhibitor in Local Junior Art (Section 11-14) (Decided on points - $10 Prize kindly donated by Trundle P & A Society)

Craft

15.   Mosaic – Any subject.

16.   Article of Craft – Made from Recyclable Materials.
